General electric and Siemens reached a preliminary agreement on power reconstruction with Iraq
on October 22, General Electric of the United States and Siemens of Germany recently reached a preliminary agreement with the Iraqi Ministry of electricity on the reconstruction of power infrastructure. In the future, they will increase Iraq's power supply by 14 gigawatts (1 gigawatt is equal to 1000 megawatts) and 11 gigawatts respectively
on the 21st, General Electric issued a statement to share with entrepreneurs after obtaining product certification, saying that general electric and the Iraqi Ministry of electricity reached an agreement on the principles of cooperation between the two sides in the development of the Iraqi power sector. According to the plan put forward by general electric, the utilization of thermofac rheometer in PIM process will increase the power supply of 14 GW for Iraq in the future. As a priority, General Electric will upgrade the existing power generation facilities in Iraq and increase 1.5 GW of power by 2019
in addition, Siemens recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the Iraqi Ministry of electricity, which plans to increase Iraq's power supply by 11 gigawatts in the next four years
